With Christmas just around the corner why not treat yourself and your 911 to that restorative work its been crying out for? You know the bits, those rust bubbles around the door slam panel, the grotty spot under the front headlight, that rusty bit on the screen pillar. Trust us, there is no better time than the present to put a stop to the rot that is eating your 911. Even better timing if you have your car off the road dodging the salt until march/april time. So why not send it to us for a refreshtoration?
Of course its always tempting to tell yourself that the rust is just a tiny superficial spot. You've probably read all the threads and posts about 911's and the rust being the tip of a normally very nastly iceberg and probably hope and pray you have dodged that nasty bullet yourself. But dont count your chickens because the norm is normally quite a grotty horror story underneath the sill covers and behind the superficial polish.
Typical of this is the red SC we refreshed during the year. The car exhibited rot in all the common areas presenting itself as a good standard case example of the areas that 911s tend to suffer in. As such, take a long hard look at the pictures and consider yours is highly likely the same underneath. If the surface in these areas is showing any evidence of rust - it always comes through from the back.
The good news is that this is bread and butter restoration work for us and it is typical for us to take a car like this, work our magic and send it out with all new metal in the places that count. On top of this we will give you options on the level of paint your car may benefit from be that local to the repair or an all over re-finish. We'll always recommend putting the car back together with new seals to complete the quality of the finish and you can be sure what returns from our workshop is nothing less than a miracle transformation in presentation without breaking the bank.

One weve been working our socks off to complete in 08 is our conversion from the restored Autofarm RHD 2.4S to the steel arched 3.6 RSR. The project is quite controversial with many people arguing such a fantasticly original 2.4S shouldnt have been lost to the conversion. We are more pragmatic, its what the owner wants, its an amazingf base car and they arnt a rare model and it makes it a fantasticly correct period car to base the RSR off. What else could you use - an RS? - probably not.
The Viper green is an inspired choice and whilst there have been a couple of other Viper green cars surfacing on the net this year you can pretty much guarantee this is the only car of the caliber that you will be seeing on these shores (for a short while) before it heads east for its owner in Hong Kong.
The gallery has more shots in it, for now, here are a couple of teasers and a nudge to say take a look at the 3.6 engine and its installation - it is clinical, they dont get any better than this.
